Blonde Potato was founded in Canada by a mother daughter duo who are proud Polish blondes from Niagara on the Lake. Besides carrying on Polish traditions like mastering the art of Polish potatoe recipes, they also have an appreciation for organic, renewable materials. This is where their idea to create handmade scarves began. With Ma’s many years of experience in sewing and Cheenia’s business acumen together they are excited to share their Canadian based, handmade scarves, made from luxurious materials including fine merino wool, silk and natural fabrics. Because these scarves are handmade by Ma, no scarf is identical making it a unique one of a kind item. Each one of our scarves is handcrafted from a superfine all natural Merino wool and we decided to add a touch of luxury of other renewable fibers too; silk, flax, linen, hemp, and bamboo.
Merino’s many unique benefits made it an easy choice when we were choosing a fabric. Besides being one of the softest materials on the planet, it is also extremely versatile. Our superfine Merino wool draws moisture away from the skin but also retains warmth making it weather-appropriate all year round. It is known for its antibacterial properties along with being a natural dirt, odor and stain repellent. Making your scarf durable and easy to care for.
The scarf that will play up your outfit, a necessity on a cold day and a fashionable accessory on others.
Stylish, sleek, elegant. One of a kind.
