Taking STRUTT by STORM

Storm Hair Group has been offering professional beauty, style and hair services in Niagara for close to 20 years. According to the company’s bio, “The first Storm location was opened in 1996 by Luca Crescia in St. Catharines. Luca aspired to create a salon founded on sharing and teamwork, talent and innovation. Today, these qualities are fully embodied in the Storm brand.”

On top of having two locations in Niagara (Fonthill and St. Catharines), the salon’s two small locations in the Garden City merged to become an ultra-storm. The salon’s newest location has space for a team of 25 and their ever-growing clientele.

“From stylists to colourists, aestheticians to associates, the complete Storm team consists of 38 talented and passionate beauty experts, each mastering an element of your individual Storm experience. Our team is dedicated to providing clients with the best the salon industry has to offer.”

Step into either of Storm’s locations (but be sure to leave your umbrella at home): 21 Highway 20 East in Fonthill or in St. Catharines at 84 Geneva St.  Follow Storm on twitter @StormHairGroup.

JY: How long have you been a STRUTT sponsor for? What keeps bringing you back to this wonderful event?

IH: We began our support with STRUTT and NAC about 5 years ago. We wanted to be a apart of the coolest event in St. Catharines and help out as much as we can.

I’ve always heard STRUTT described as a fashion show that borders on the absurd – how would you describe it in 7 words or less?

To Storm – STRUTT is Niagara’s must see show that is not a “fashion show’ its an experience that will change your perception of the local art community.

Do you have any special plans for the event?

We always come up with a hairstyle and makeup that helps to tie the event together. It’s always a secret!

How easy would it be for you to pull off wearing a STRUTT piece at work?

We have some characters that work at the salon that could definitely pull off wearing a STRUTT outfit on a regular day.
